Applied for the role as there was a strong alignment and interest in the role and also since the company is a leading brand. Had 2 rounds of interview over 2 months. In one of the interview the interviewer did not dial in as per the schedule so had to send reminder to confirm the schedule. I had followup queries post-interview with the hiring manager so when requested to share the communication mail id with the recruitment team I was surprised to get a response saying that I need to share the questions with the recruitment team and recruitment team will forward the queries to the hiring manager for a response. Despite several follow-ups no update on the application status was provided by the recruitment team. The company will do well to keep an open and transparent communication policy with serious candidates. The company is well within its right to make any decision on the candidature but not bothering to update the application status to serious candidates does not reflect well of the recruitment process and company brand.
