Had several rounds with the technical team, but things quickly turned nasty upon meeting the non-technical team members. Very apparent that there is a huge culture clash between those who are doing the actual work (technical) and paper pushers (non-technical). This was exemplified when asking one of the paper pushers what her position was with regards to the role BlackRock is hiring, only to get a reply of "does it really matter that much to you?". Absolutely toxic corporate culture internally if interviewers are even saying that out loud to potential colleagues.
