I applied online. I interviewed at Blacksmith Agency
Interview
There were many red flags in the interview process. One of them being the 5.0 reviews on glassdoor with zero negative feedback... come on. EVERYONE has something to work on or improve. So one can assume those reviews are not accurate. The interview process is overly exhaustive with 2 separate recruiter interviews, a manager interview, then you complete a test, and finally you'll interview with a VP or CEO and then review the results of the test. They like to record interviews, but they won't give you a heads up or ask you if they can record as a courtesy.
The company produces websites on wordrpress. Throughout the course of interviews never was asked about past wordpress experience, or other CMS platform experience. Also could not get an answer to the question: if the company has a professional development budget (trying to determine if the company invests in their employees to keep their skills sharpened - instead received an off the wall answer about developers or programers). Overall, where's too many red flags in the interview process you know that's an early indicator that the agency is a hot mess. Where there's smoke there's fire.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Blacksmith Agency
Interview
The recruiter reached out. The screening call was via Zoom. It was short and seemed fine but didn't go past that stage. Positive experience overall but no idea why I wasn't selected
