There was a screening video call that was recorded (I do wish I'd been informed of that beforehand), and a take home assignment to qualify for the next interview with the department manager.
Impersonal, cookie cutter and average at best. The recruiter was clearly reading off a screen and trying to get through our call to get to the next person. By the time you get to an interview, the recruiter should know whether they are interested in your experience or not, not during a first interview.
