Interview
The recruiter reached out and scheduled a phone interview with me and the hiring manager. The hiring manager asked me questions about my background and told me about the company and their current needs in expanding the design team. The questions predominantly focused on file management and seeing how my methods would fit with the company's team. At the end of the interview, the hiring manager discussed next steps in the interview process, which consisted of a design exercise and discussing my work to the design team via Google Hangouts. If I passed those assessments, the final step would involve an on-site meeting at the company.
I reached out to the recruiter after a week to follow-up on my application, and the recruiter informed me that another candidate underwent the full interview process and accepted their job offer.
