      Account Manager SMB Interview

      Mar 15, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Block (New York, NY) in Mar 2019

      Interview

Recruiter was extremely disorganized and a poor communicator. Not respectful of my time and didn’t take ownership of standing me up twice for our scheduled call. The SMB role in New York starts out at $70K base and is hourly (I guess you can bill overtime work). @Square if you monitor this at all, I would be happy to forward you my email transcript with the recruiter so that you can address this internally and improve the interview experience for other candidates. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism while interviewing at a company before.
