There were 3 steps: HR screen, SQL screen, virtual onsite. The virtual on site was a series of about 5 different interviewees starting with a data analysis screening. The rest were just problem solving sessions to see how you would approach various problems.
Weirdly enough, I was told that they were passing on me because they “didn’t get a high enough signal with experience in data pipelining” despite none of the assessments actually concerning data pipelining. How were you supposed to get a signal if nothing was asked regarding that and/or technical screen on that? Super strange. Maybe they had a candidate already lined up for it and they needed to fulfill quotas or something, and they just came up with a random reason that wasn’t generic.
