There was no recruiter call, only a direct call from a hiring manager, and there were no technical questions involved, mostly self-reported description of interests and background, something that a recruiter screening call should cover, so as to not waste my time or the hiring manager's time. No following feedback either. I expected more from you Square! The interviewing process at Google, though notoriously long, was much better, objective, thorough, and fair.
