Easy process, questions were straightforward but not sure if HR are passing the correct information to candidate. Overall I liked the process but little bit lengthy and they make you wait for weeks even though you are their top candidate.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bloom Energy in Aug 2021
Interview
Unethical, Unprofessional, Biased
The interview was with 9 team members . First with HR , then hiring manager and then 7 panel members. Immediately you realize that with 8 members being male there is a gender imbalance in the company. During the first interview with hiring manager there was no indication that this is a evening job it went well with basic questions. Then came the panel interview wherein the first interviewer mentioned whether I am aware of the time which confused me but the interviews went on. Then came the HR interviewer who was the only female, she also asked me about the time and I said this was not mentioned by the hiring manager. She emailed the manager and received a reply that it is a day job. The interviews concluded and then next day I received a VOICEMAIL from the recruiter that I got the job but the only change is its an evening job. So much inconsistencies on the timing but still I accepted the job and gave a counter offer ( He himself said that we can be competitive ). A few days later I get an email saying that the offer has being rejected and we have decided to not go forward.
Yes, you read it right after giving me the offer they rejected my application and when asked the reason they said that I do not fit the role and the panel discussed it over the weekend(Like really as professionals we don't have time to get are own work done that they discussed my application over the weekend I mean atleast give a convincing lie)
DONT BOTHER INTERVIEWING IN THIS COMPANY THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME.
