Question 1
Q: Who is your favorite Bloomberg TV broadcaster ?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Tokyo) in Jul 2026
Interview
The first-round interview was a one-way recorded video interview. There were five questions, and I had 1 minute and 40 seconds to answer each question. Unlike some HireVue interviews, there was no preparation time before each question, so you had to start answering immediately once the question appeared.
The first four questions were asked in Japanese, while the final question required an answer in English.
Overall, the interview focused on your motivation, understanding of the role, and whether your experiences align with Bloomberg's Sales & Analytics position. Since there was no thinking time, I would recommend preparing concise answers that fit comfortably within the 1 minute and 40 second time limit and practicing delivering them naturally.
