First there was an online application which I found through linkedin, a few weeks later there was a one-sided video interview asking questions such as "why bloomberg?" a few weeks after that I had a phone screening with someone in HR, followed by a super day in New York. The super day was about 3 and a half hours long. there were about 20 other candidates there and we were split into two groups. There were two 30 minute behavioral interviews, one with an analytics team leader and one with a sales team leader. Super informal, basically just chatting with them about what you know about Bloomberg and why you want the job (they don't use resumes either, so definitely know it well so you can talk about your past experiences). Know about the markets because they might ask some questions about that, but since its a training program there is no real experience necessary- i got the feel that the interviews were mostly to test if your personality was a good fit for the company. Following the interviews, there was a tour of the office (which is beautiful), a q&a with former interns, and a group presentation where we were given an article and had to present on it in front of different people who work for Bloomberg. Overall a very fun and relaxed day, everyone is super friendly and seems like they just want to see you to succeed. They said they would get back to us within 1-2 weeks, I received a call after one business day.
