Hello Everyone.
I have applied for a Global Data Analyst position at Bloomberg in London, UK and today I have had my telephone interview with them. The interview was mainly focus on 4 aspects:
1) My understanding of the position - make sure you do research on what Global Data Analyst position at Bloomberg is all about.
2) Why do I want to work as a Global Data Analyst?
3) Why Bloomberg?
4) My key skills that make me suitable for the role.
I was also asked additional questions such as:
1) What do you know about Bloomberg?
2) From where Bloomberg is sourcing its market data? - this was the most tricky question for me to answer.
3) Have you recently worked with a large amount of data? How did you deal with it?
4) Do you follow financial markets news? Tell me what piece of news have you recently found most interesting?
5) When do you see yourself in 5 years?
6) What do you think is more important - timely or accurate information?
That's it. I do not know the outcome of my telephone interview yet, but I hope I will get through the next stage, which is an assessment day at the Bloomberg office in London.
