I applied in-person. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Mumbai) in Feb 2024
Interview
I was told that the interviewer was in India and would like to meet face to face for the interview which was fine. Then he turned up 45 mins late to the interview citing an extended client meeting which was okay as I wanted to move on to the discussion. Then after 20 mins into the discussion he turned his laptop on and said he has an important call to attend and eventually left the interview! He handed over to an another of his team member and asked to not go 'harsh' on me. Remember I am talking about a Bloomberg interview and not a mum n dad shop which I hope will be a far better experience. The 'team member' had a different view on this KPI's of the position offered and then he called a female team member to discuss further, and she also had a third different view on the deliverables - Yes, I'm not joking. This was an absolute shameful experience. They left as they were getting late but gave me an experience which I will never forget.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Hong Kong) in Mar 2026

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you intend to fill the gap between your previous role and this role?
There was a quiz, a video interview, and then a behavioral and role-playing interview. The most difficult portion was the role-playing interview as I found some of the questions to be too vague about what they were actually asking.
Phone call 30 min, role play interview over zoom and with specific language applied for and then if successfull a team leader interview and if successful then a job offer
