Was contacted by a recruiter to schedule timings to talk about my background. Call went well where she asked about current work experience, tools and technologies known etc. Following this, they scheduled a skype interview with the hiring manager. Before this, they asked me to fill countless forms including background verification. The skype interview lasted about 45 minutes consisting of both behavioral and technical questions. The hiring manager seemed a little distracted throughout our conversation where his eyes kept darting away elsewhere as I was speaking. Did not hear back after a week after which I followed up. The recruiter was very vague and she kept suggesting that I should "cast my net wider" and look for other opportunities. Weird. Seems like people there aren't particularly fond of the company themselves.
