I was contacted by Recruiting Agency working for JDA. The process was very lengthy. 1 phone Interview and 3 face to face over 3 months. All interviews were rather classic with questions about my experience, expectations, my reaction to different situations. Basic technical questions. Interviewers were, HR, Technical Consultant, Some director from US. Interesting part is that all interviewers thought that another interviewer will or have already tested my technical competencies in depth and in the end noone bothered to check me on that. That is fine, I would not have a problem with their technical requirements anyways. And so they assumed that I have passed the technical tests as well. Interviews were professional and friendly, all the interviewers cared to get me informed as of what is expected, what the company does and what benefits are offered. Thy also seemed very open to get in touch if I had any more questions. This position was supposed to be at newly open office for near offshore delivery. For that reason they did not even have permanent office and staff was HR and 2-3 consultants. The company was just setting up so I assume this is the reason for making this process so long. Anyways, I have successfully passed all the recruiting steps. I confirmed that with recruiting agency and HR guy from JDA and I was supposed to wait for an offer in about 2 weeks. The offer never came although I asked them and they kept saying that something happened in logistics, someone is on vacation etc and they kept postponing the closure of the process for "next week" a couple of times. Now it is 3 months fro m the last contact and I guess that means no. And they still keep posting job offers. I have changed job in the meantime anyway, so I am not waiting for them. At the end they showed up as very unprofessional by this lengthy process, postponing interviews all the time and not giving a response after having the candidate invest heavily in complete recruiting process. They made numerous promises of the dates of results, that thy will give feedback no matter of results (standard lie though). If this is the way they treat successful and willing to work for them candidates then it makes you thing how the company works.
