Was contacted on LinkedIn by an internal sourcer to schedule a phone screen for me to learn more about the role. Scheduled a phone call with them for the next day using the Calendly linked they provided me. The time for our call came around and I was ghosted... Finally receive a LinkedIn message from them 15 minutes after our scheduled call saying that "I am on a team meeting" and if I could reschedule. I respectfully declined as I have other commitments that day. Their response to me was "My Calendly does not sync to my Outlook calendar", placing the blame for the scheduling conflict on the candidate for using the link provided is not something I would expect from a sourcer with 9 years of experience.. Honestly, this is just not a great image for BlueHalo, their culture, and their recruiting process. Please have respect for your candidates, especially if you are the one to engage them through cold out reaches, and take accountability for your actions and processes. A candidates time is just as valuable as yours...
