The interview started with an assignment that was actually round 0. My assignment was shortlisted and I was selected for round 1 which was grilling not in difficulty level but in time span context. It was for a nice 1hr and 15 min. Got selected and headed for round 2. It was with a Senior Technical Engineer. And was also a long one. We discussed various concepts but we got stuck at this particular question Is Dart single-threaded or multi-threaded, which I replied that it's single-threaded. A task that is asynchronous or async in nature in dart will run on the same thread until you use Isolates which makes code run parallelly on a different thread. I was shocked he didn't know about isolates in Dart/Flutter which is the core of the language as Dart runs in an Isolate. Anyways I tried to explain to him but he wanted to hear what he wanted to hear and end of the story I didn't get selected for speaking the truth and the right thing about the language. In short, don't trust their interview process as they may not know that you can be more than they can know. They'll choose what's their level of knowledge can make them understand neglecting the fact that there will be more than a person could know. I don't know how they will find someone suitable for the role or just pretending that they want one, who knows. Their interview and selection metrics are not good to find a suitable guy. And I am writing this to make other people aware of their unfair conduct of interview rounds. I'll find other opportunities no problem. But please Bluestacks stop wasting the time of the professionals. You have a good product in your hands with good potential to grow. Don't let it waste.
