I was reached out by a consulting agency for the opening. The process involved an assignment which was supposed to be completed in 2 days. I worked on the assignment and submitted it but never heard back from the consulting agency or the company itself. When I checked with the consulting agency after a week, I was told that there's no progress from the company's end. It is really frustrating to not know about the status, which can either be positive or negative. I invested around 20 hours on the assignment and not hearing back is pathetic. If you are reached out to do an assignment, I'd strongly advice against you investing your hours in it. In my case particularly, I am sure I did pretty well on the assignment as I even completed the bonus questions they asked for. The character of a company can easily be judged by the way they treat their potential recruits. In this case the company lacks any of it!
