      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BlueStacks in Aug 2023

      Interview

I got reached out to by a third-party recruiter about this job opportunity. During the first interview with the manager, he discussed one of the past client deals to get me to know the role, emphasizing its involvement in ensuring the game's compatibility with the software and so on. This experience was positive and made me feel confident about my potential and capability to excel in the role. However, the second interview with the senior manager left me disappointed. She appeared disinterested right from the start for no reason and asked the same questions as in the initial interview, giving the impression that she hadn't taken any notes from the previous interview. I was expecting more technical questions regarding the role, and how my qualifications can align with the requirements to undertake the position. Despite my prior experience in T2 support within the relevant industry, she reflected on it and stated that they were only looking for T1 support which seemed very contradictory with the expectation that the candidate would learn the supported product on the job despite my expressed willingness to do so. After a few weeks, I followed up to inquire about the status of my application but received no response from HR or the said recruiter. Completely ghosted.
