I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Boehringer Ingelheim in Sep 2015
Interview
Long process so don't get discouraged. Greater than three months. Starts with telephone interview and then moves to face2face. Many people (too many perhaps - one interviewer confessed "I don't even know why I am on this team, although we would work cross functionally I have no expertise in your field, so I apologize that my questions will be generic) makes it difficult for them to coordinate schedules internally which drags out process.

Question 1
Standard S/TAR, situation task action result. Tell me about a time you needed to make a decision when perhaps you didn't have all the information you needed.
Took 4 months, multiple rounds of phone/virtual/in person interviews with many different levels of employees. Exact next steps were never clear. Overall, very nice people and communicative HR department despite lack of transparency.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Boehringer Ingelheim (Ridgefield, CT)
Interview
Recruiter, then hiring manager, panels, Director and Executive Director. Thoughtful questions, quite long. Some interviewers need practice. Overall, just an experience that could remove some layers and unnecessary people from the process.

Question 1
How would you use a certain type of data to drive your decisions?
Quick initial process with recruiter, didnt qualify for next round of interviews but the recruiter provided valuable feedback as to why i was not selected for the next round of interviews.
