I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boeing (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2012
Interview
Structural Interview. They'll ask you several (6-8) behavioral questions (i.e. describe a time you were ask an unreasonable demand from a customer and was unable to deliver...). Also they'll possible ask where do you see yourself in 5 years. This question is more for them to see if you will stay in their group for more than a year. After the interview is over, they'll ask if you have any questions. It is best that you have at least 3 questions to show you have research the company an the job. Your questions should be closely related to the job (i.e. if its assembly line work as an interiors engineer, you should ask something like how the assembly line work is different/similar for the 737-NGs vs. the 777s). Show excitement and enthusiasm for the job you are interviewing for. This has gotten me a job, in which I had little experience, but really wanted the experience. The interview is usually in person, but it may be over the phone. If it is over the phone and they invite you to come out for a visit, this usually is a good sign you might get the job, because they are willing to pay for you to come out. When traveling for the interview and/or post-interview visit, they pay for everything which is nice and stress-less. The may even reimburse your taxi fare (or airport shuttle fare) to/from the airport, but this depends on the manager and his/her budget and their business traveling rules. For in-person interviews dress business (never casual or business casual). Men and Women should have a three-piece suit. Men where ties. Women, little jewelry (but not a lot or none). Women, no dresses, but a skirt as a part of the three-piece suit if you don't prefer pants, with the skirts, I suggest stockings.

Question 1
Describe a time you were ask an unreasonable demand from a customer and was unable to deliver? Describe a time where you needed to motivate your fellow coworkers, who were not motivated to complete a task. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? In one minute, tell us why you are the best candidate for this position. Describe some of your weaknesses and what you do to compensate for them?
Behavioral based questions, usually five. One is always a "tell me about yourself" question. The panel is busy writing notes and there isn't much eye contact. Nothing off script either.
I applied online. I interviewed at Boeing (Everett, WA)

This was for an Entry-Level role. STAR format, 5 questions. Was asked about experience and difficult / pressure situations. Besides 5 STAR q's, a couple of yes/no questions e.g. "have you ever used tool X?"

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you solved a technical issue
A 5 questions virtual interview and then 3 psychometric games with Hire-Vue. The questions were quite difficult but there was about 1 minute to plan out your answer and practice. The games were pattern recognition and emotionally based. They outlined how to play each game before hand.
