I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Bombardier (Derby, England) in Apr 2015
Interview
Applied through learning unlimited and had several interview days where tests were administered got through to the 3rd stage and had one to one interview with learning unlimited staff, who were superb and supportive and gave a lot of feedback afterwards.
Then got an interview with bombardier staff which was diabolical, interviewed by two men, one of which was more interested in checking his mobile phone than conducting an interview. The letter informed me that the interview would take between 30 - 40 minutes, in reality this was reduced to 15 minutes as it was approaching lunchtime. Informed midway through the interview that the apprenticeship had been changed and I should be aware of this when I applied (applied in November 2014 and the apprenticeship was changed in February 2015)
A very disappointing interview process for a 16 year old just starting out on the interview trail, despite such positive feedback from the recruitment agency who originally interviewed me for this apprenticeship.
Not heard anything from them as yet, but am doubtful it would be positive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
describe a situation where working in a team paid off and was successful
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bombardier in Apr 2015
Interview
I was contacted by email and booked a Telephone interview. Very interesting and positive exprience. The introduction by the interviewer was slightly automated. Although she had confidence on what the role was about, I felt unsure whether I could ask more in depth questions about the role or the team involved since she was placed in another country.
Although I asked for a very Quick feedback due to the fact that I had to reply to a couple of offers from other companies, she did not let me know, or reply to my emails when I asked about the status. Thus, I accepted one of the offers from the Company that showed more interest in me. The one at Bombardier showed no interest in keeping me updated despite the fact that I was in a hurry, and thus I interpreted it as if they were not really interested in my profile.
