I first forwarded my resume to the university recruiter, who I had met at a career fair. This was back in March. He never contacted me directly, but about 2 months later, I received a phone call from a recruiter who just did a basic phone screening, told me about the position they were hiring for, asked me a few basic questions about my background, and then told me she wanted to invite me to the next group interview session in McLean the following month, with travel expenses to be reimbursed by the company.
The interview in McLean consisted of a group of recruits. We first assembled in a small conference room and met the HR person who was responsible for hiring, along with a few other senior people. They talked with us about the interview process and how it would work. We then went into out own individual small interview rooms and one by one current Booz employees (at the associate level and above, I believe), would come into the room. There were a total of three interviewers who would come in and go over my resume, asking specific questions about my work experience and also some hypothetical situations. After that, we were told we could leave.
I received a phone call a few days later with an offer.
