I applied online. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (McLean, VA) in Jan 2015
Interview
The interview is like speed dating. You talk to 5 - 6 job managers for 15 or so minutes and see if you are the right fit. It was very unorganized. I had one person interview me for a Computer Engineer position - I am no way qualified for that position. We ended up chatting about nothing. I also had two different people interview me for two different positions at the same time. It was extremely nerve racking and a little confusing.
The Booz Allen consultant interview process was pretty straightforward—started with a recruiter screen, then a couple of behavioral interviews, and a case-style or problem-solving conversation. Overall, it focused a lot on teamwork, communication, and how you think through challenges. It felt professional but conversational.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you describe a time where you had to lead a project?
It was easy no case study just talked to two people back to back. I think they were two thirty minute interviews. They can be from different accounts and just walked through your resume
Two interviews one with my job lead and one with my career manager. Typical questions about you and your resume. Both interviews were virtual and about 30 minutes in length.
