Overall process:
1. Call - HR:
Asked some basic background questions to assess if I am the right candidate for the role
2. Call - Manager:
Initial screening focused to check, if I qualify technically for the role.
3. In person - Scripting & OOPS_Technical Interview: 3 rounds of about an hour each
The in-person interview was for about 3 hours during which, got a chance to meet development team and several case-studies were discussed to see my analytical thinking. They were mostly interested in checking my approach to solve various technical scenarios that involved some white-board usage., this went on for about 90 mins. Following which I had another 90-minute session during which, the same interview team reviewed my code to solve the same technical questions related to the scenarios discussed in the first round. Most of the questions were pretty straight forward and simple. A couple of them were from the most common interview questions list.
4. 2nd In person - Data Engineering_Technical Interview: This was much shorter than the previous technical interview. Given that I was called for this interview 3 months after my first one, this was pretty short one. I was handed code in paper and asked to review it for bugs and complexity. Duration was for about 60 minutes.
