      Consultant Interview

      Dec 8, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group

      Interview

I came in for a first round interview, which was two sets of interviews involving the standard interview questions plus a case for each. One case involved trying to figure out how to improve the snack profits of a supermarket (namely, what was the root cause of the profit issue and how to improve it), and the other involved trying to figure out a similar thing for a whiskey company. The root causes were different in each case.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

We have a company which is seeking to improve its profits on whiskey, which have declined in recent years. How can we improve our client's market share?
