      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group

      Interview

Received prompt replies indicating I was selected for an interview. First interview was a phone interview - felt more like a conversation instead of simply asking questions, which I appreciated. Recruiter was honest in that my lack of consulting experience would make it difficult to move forward, but he felt my qualifications were worth mentioning. They responded within the week of the phone interview to let me know - again, I appreciated the promptness.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

General questions - why BCG? Why are you making the move? Discuss your work history and how it applies.
      Answer question

      Interview

First round interview with was HR - describe background and interest in BCG. Second round interview was with Senior Client Development Manager (30 minute zoom interview). Was asked about client development experience (account planning procedures). Was asking how I multi-task. Strengths/weaknesses. 5 minutes at the end for questions. Seemed rushed.
