I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Dec 2017
Interview
4 rounds of interview with both Knowlwedge team leads and Consulting Partners. Interview conducted in various skill aspects based on the topic of expertise and resume experience previous. Also behaviour attitude were checked.
Difficult but good initial interviews for Lead Knowledge Analyst - Consumer Goods. There was one lady I interviewed with that was very dismissive of me from the start, and ate a full meal for 30 minutes of the interview (from the start of the interview until when she more/less finished her meal).

- My 20 year plan
3 rounds including initial HR, behavioral with the hiring manage, and straightforward case study. Additionally, one last step with senior leadership testing on the domain expertise. Overall, process was quick and transparent.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (New York, NY) in Mar 2024
Interview
1.Recruiter reach out via LI, conduct phone screening
2.Second recruiter phone screen
3.HM initial interview about background
4.Case interview, pretty standard
5.MDP expertise interview - terrible experience. The interviewer was a no show, later received email from recruiter to reschedule. MDP joined rescheduled interview, no mention of missing the prior interview. Overall attitude very cold, disinterested. Questions are half baked, not very well structured around what the job is asking for or listed in the JD. The interview has a very "off" vibe which to me is not a good sign and I knew it's not going to work if this was my stakeholder.
Advice to MDPs, no big deal if you feel so entitled and better than the people you're interviewing, at least do a better job hiding it. Hope this is a unique case and not a reflection of BCG's culture.
