I applied online. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Tokyo)
Interview
The first round of interview was conducted over skype.
BCG is perhaps one of the most "Japanese" of all foreign consulting firms in Japanese and the interview was completely in Japanese.
I passed the first round and next came the face-to-face interview.
This is where I didn't pass
It was at the BCG office in Tokyo and consisted of two back to back interview with two interviewer.
They both asked briefly about my experiences and reasons for wanting to work there
but that was really short and went straight into the case interview.
Although I did not get the position, I have to be fair and say that the interviewers were extremely polite and friendly. They were quick to help in the case interview.
