Interview
BCG Gamma requested my application, applied online on their portal.
Hire Vue one-way video interview within a week. Basic behavioral questions.
Within 2-3 weeks of Hire Vue received a 2 hour Hackerrank based Data Science Test. Contained around 10 questions, few multiple choice, few text based and 2 modelling questions. Mostly related to data science and modelling.
Then within a week received an interview invitation for the first Technical Case Interview. 45 mins long, with 10 minutes of behavioral and the discussion of a case in the remaining time. This case is not like a usual MBB case. They focus more on applying data science and modelling to solve the business problem at hand.
Within a week of that, was invited for the final round of interviews (i.e. Super Day). This had three 45 minute rounds. Back to back with 15 minute breaks in between interviews:
1) Partner Fit Round: Basic behavioral questions about motivation, data science experience and how to make business decisions using data science.
2) Technical Case Round: 10 mins behavioral, 35 mins case discussion similar to the previous technical case round, but related to Recommendation system.
3) Technical Case: 10 mins behavioral. 35 mins case discussion but related to Optimization of labour force allocation for a company which owns multiple factories. Kind of difficult.
Rejected after two days.

Coding challenge, then soft skills which i did not get to. Coding challenge was online timed in a third party tool. Not very hard but needed more time and didnt move quick enough.
The process includes six stages: HR screening, CodeSignal online assessment, basic pandas and data science case interview, followed by three business case interviews focused on practical problem-solving and business impact.
