The interview was conversational rather than formal. It began with a few questions about my background and interests, then moved to why I’m interested in Boston University and my chosen field of study. After that, we discussed my academic experiences and goals, as well as how I could contribute to the BU community. Finally, I had the chance to ask questions about BU. Overall, it felt more like a two-way conversation than a test.
The interview itself was fine, but getting to that phase was difficult. BU is very referral based, so you really need to network and go on informational interviews to make sure your resume actually gets in front of the right person.
