I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Box (Palo Alto, CA) in Sep 2011
Interview
Started with a Human Resources telephone screen, followed by a technical phone screen, followed by an on-site full-day interview with 8 people. Then a Followup dinner with the CTO (Chief Technical Officer - but you knew that) and COO (Chief Operating Officer). This 50 (fifty!) word minimum on GlassDoor sure adds lots of fluff words to what would otherwise be a terse description.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Box in Mar 2015
Interview
Meeting with recruiters in person after our school's career fair to get an idea of what working there is like. A video call to determine a culture fit, and a video live-coding set of tech exercises. I felt that these exercises were relevant to the kind of work and problems I'd be solving.

Question 1
What technical accomplishment are you most proud of?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Box (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied with my resume. A recruiter reached out to me to do a pre-recorded video interview which was slightly awkward. They asked 5 questions that were pretty straightforward and can be found in another review. A few days later I received an email saying I've moved on and the recruiter scheduled a skype interview. The skype interview was about 45 minutes, but I was only asked one question/problem to solve. It was regarding coins and probability. Definitely one of the weirdest interviews i've done and I didn't feel like I had the chance to explain why I would be a good fit. Once I finished solving the puzzle, they only asked if I had questions and that was the end of it. Heard back with an email about four days later saying I wasn't exactly what they were looking for

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that Wepows (pre-recorded video) can feel a bit awkward. We are always looking for new technologies to improve our interview process, and we will take note of your concern.
