Interview
I had to fill out an application packet in-person when I got there for the interview, even though I had already done an online application, sent in resume and cover letter, etc. I was asked some questions about myself, my goals, and my availability. The interviewer wasn't able to give me an idea of what they pay, what hours would be like, or how many clients I would have. I was then able to observe a session and watch a coach in action. I was unimpressed with the company- the website makes it look like what they are doing is researched-based, but the interviewer told me the founder of the company just did trials with his own kids and based the program around that. The "coach" I observed looked like she was in high school, and just guided the kids through a set of computer and balance activities in a small, boring room.
It was quick and painless. I interviewed with my direct supervisor, and I was able to meet current employees in the position I was interviewing for. My direct supervision was a previous coach who had worked up to management.

They asked me about my experience working with children.
Brief tour of the office and how everything runs. Then a one-on-one interview with management personnel. Thirty minute process with scripted questions. Even with the scripted questions, the interview still flowed naturally.

Laurie one of the directors contacted me calling me one day before interviews were being done (the very next day) when I tried to reschedule or even do it via zoom she said no. I was able to tell by the tone of her voice she wasn’t flexible and was upset that I couldn’t make it with only one day notice. Talk about unprofessional and a red flag. Glad it didn’t go through
