I got to know about this job from my academic advisor, then I told him I was interested so he forwarded my CV to my current boss, then after a brief conversation over email, my current boss called me to meet him in person.

They asked me, about my degree, what classes I was taking, my availability. They also wanted to know if I had done any management work before this, I had, so then they asked me questions on that.

Contacted for an interview with another lab employee. Made it sound like it would be the full interview with the PI. This was note the case, it was merely a screen. They were just using it to weed out applicants. Utter waste of time.
