I applied online. I interviewed at Brandwatch (New York, NY) in Apr 2017
Interview
Phone interview with Human Resource representative and an in person meeting with 3 different managers back to back. Afterwards, a mock email test and situation with Sales Manager to test selling and management abilities.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Brandwatch (Brighton, England) in Nov 2015
Interview
Phone interview, face-to-face interview, second face-to-face interview with presentation, phone interview with senior manager. References taken up (no problem).
I was told verbally that the job was mine and they had by now seen all candidates, kept me waiting for an offer in writing for over a week (causing me to have to turn down another offer that I could not keep delaying a decision on - and Brandwatch were aware of my situation). Finally I was told that a last minute candidate had become available from a rival company (after taking references) and therefore I DIDN'T get the job.
Most unreasonable interview process I have come across and the entire process was about their convenience and keeping me simultaneously hanging on whilst keeping their options open. If this is their way of handling recruitment then I have to wonder what working there would be like. I dodged a bullet.
