At first, the interview process was pretty normal. One submits one's CV, gets a screening call, but already having a phone chat with the hiring manager was odd.
That person was not prepared, did not read my CV, asked immature questions and was not really there. First the hiring-manager did not even want to me to visit the office in order to get a feeling, but rather run straight to the finish line.
I convinced the hiring manager that I need to get a sense what this company is about and the people there. So we agreed a meeting the next day. Coming to the office I saw that that hiring manager was dressed as casual as possible...worn out T-shirt, dirty sneakers, broken jeans.
The face2face interview was not much better. The hiring manager jumped from one topic to another without me being able to finish me sentences. After that stage was over I was shown around at the office in Brighton.
The next stage was another conference call/zoom meeting together with the next level manager. Hence it was a video cast I could see what all were doing. I got the normal spiel with standard questions.
However, odd was again that the hiring manager was playing all the time with her hair, not being concentrated, checked her feet and made her nails in the middle of the interview.
The Company seemed very desperate hiring JUST SOMEBODY
