Interview
I first tried applying through a recruiter. The process took months and it was difficult for me to get my foot in the door due to lack of experience. I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and fill out an application in person and turn in my resume myself. It just so happened the Vice President General Manager and Branch Manager were both in the office at the same time and were available to interview me right then and there. It was unexpected, but a great experience because I was finally able speak with someone about an opportunity in person. Management later told me what sold them on hiring me was that My arriving in person showed them I had drive and really wanted the position.
