      Product Interview

      Sep 29, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Brightside Health

      Interview

Typical process - screen w/ recruiter, video call w/ hiring manager, video calls w/ team, except they also had a "take-home assignment," aka "free work," which they always say will just take 2 hours but invariably ends up taking 10 or more.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Take-home assignment was along the lines of "suggest 3 ways to increase the average number of sessions per month patents attend and how you'd prioritize their implementation." Basically they're just looking for free work. My new rule is never to do take-home assignments. I have plenty of previous work to present. If you want to see me do new work for you, I want to see you pay me.
