Sent a cover letter with my resume. Received a rejection 2 days later stating they have a large pool of candidates to choose from. I thanked them , expressing respect for their decision, and gently asked for feed back in hopes of understanding how I fell short of the mark and can improve my chances as I continue my search.
Reply: Sorry are policy is not to say.
Something does not smell right
Honestly, my bonafides aren't too shabby, decent Git repos, a number of articles on development practices explaining the use of cutting edge technologies. I have a lot of experience with regard to the positions I applied for, so I figure at least a phone conversation. Judging from their GlassDoor rating, I though they would be a little more classy.
