I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Broadway Technology (Austin, TX) in Jun 2015
Interview
Before talking to anyone over the phone, I had to complete an online, timed coding test. After passing the test, I had to talk to a HR person for a half hour. There wasn't any useful information in that conversation, but it was probably to make sure I spoke English fluently or something along those lines. After that, I had a phone screen with a developer. With 25 minutes remaining, he asked me to go to collabedit. He asked me a simple question but it still required some thought because it wasn't something you'd normally do. I asked a clarifying question and he answered it. After working on the problem for maybe 5-10 minutes, he said "Oh I'm sorry. I should have been more clear. I actually wanted you to do this." The actual question was very different and I had only 15 or so minutes left. I figure I could have almost completed it in 30-45 minutes. Maybe he screwed up but he was a smart guy so I think it's more likely the redirection was on purpose. I didn't have enough time to complete the actual question. At the end, the interviewer told me he didn't expect me to complete it. I think I need to be much faster at interview questions, but I was also left feeling that the phone screen wasn't a realistic test of my ability.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Broadway Technology (London, England) in Oct 2022
Interview
Interview process was divided into 3 phases. 1st phase what technical assessment with Karat Platform. They asked DS Algo question + some computer science related questions 2nd phase in (virtual) onsite interviews. There were three 1 hour interviews focusing on DS, Algo, Problem Solving. One round focused on System Design 3rd phase was conversation with leadership. Asking various aspects of software engineering and some behavioral questions.
The process had several different rounds, starting with a single coding problem and eventually moving toward several back-to-back interviews with different team members.
This was a reasonably straight-forward process, but did feel a needlessly intense with the back-to-back interview portion.

Question 1
There were several problems of varying degree of difficulty. Most problems were nearly verbatim from medium-difficulty from Cracking the Coding Interview or Leetcode.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Broadway Technology in Mar 2019
Interview
This was the most awkward interview I had ever encountered. At the HR round I explicitly ask HR what programming language I could use for the coding test. HR told me I could whatever languages I wanna. However, in the technical round the interview asked me to code in C++. I asked if I could use python to finish the coding test. Then, the interview just asked me how I wanna approach the question and finish the interview immediately after answers. Without surprise 1 week later they gave me rejection notice.
This process made me feel like engineers working have very strict requirements on working styles and force people to accept what they have to do without any discussions.
