Broadway Technology interview questions

This was the most awkward interview I had ever encountered. At the HR round I explicitly ask HR what programming language I could use for the coding test. HR told me I could whatever languages I wanna. However, in the technical round the interview asked me to code in C++. I asked if I could use python to finish the coding test. Then, the interview just asked me how I wanna approach the question and finish the interview immediately after answers. Without surprise 1 week later they gave me rejection notice. This process made me feel like engineers working have very strict requirements on working styles and force people to accept what they have to do without any discussions.

I applied through on-campus recruiting and got assigned an on-campus view for a week later. The interview was about an hour long, with the first 20 minutes consisting of "tell me about some of your experiences" questions, the next 30 minutes consisting of 2 technical questions, and the final 10 minutes for questions directed towards the interviewer. I heard back about 3 and a half weeks later.
