I was contacted by HR and had a brief screening on the phone, the interview was pleasant and professional, I was asked questions about me resume and experience. About a week later I was contacted for a second interview on Skype. I was interviewed by a person who has a high position in the company, he started the interview by telling me information about the company and himself, then he told me to start asking questions (which I found weird because this typically happens at the end). I asked him questions regarding travel, what I'm gonna be doing, over time compensation etc then he told me to tell him about myself, I started talking and he started asking very personal questions which I think are not related to my position, he asked details about my personal life and my family, why I left my country of origin and moved to the US, what kind of business my father has, he even made a sarcastic comment that my farther probably made me work long hours for him and correlated that to why I took longer than usual to get my degree. He asked me why I started in college and not in university, I answered because it's cheaper, and he kept making comments how I care too much about financial issues. My worst experience was when he told me I had to pass a background check, which I agreed, then he kept repeating THREE times "are you sure?" , "the TSA will have to check you" , and he implied that if I have anything to hide then this position is probably not fit for me. The way he said that was not appreciated and not professional. I answered all his questions including the questions about my previous job and other technical questions. Then he told me he will make a decision within a week to let me know if I'm qualified for another interview. The next day I got an email that they are pursuing other candidates. Overall, a horrible person to represent the company.
