I applied to 7 jobs and never heard a word, sometimes I didn't even get an email rejection for months. Then I must have found the right position. I applied on a Sunday and I heard from recruiting the following Monday. I had my phone interview scheduled with the recruiter the following Tuesday, had an interview with the hiring manager the next day and then the following Monday I had a full day of team interviews. I interviewed with the recruiter again and then interviewed for 30 minute segments with 6 other people. It was all on zoom.
5/6 people were super great, personably and easy going. They asked real questions like "what is your favorite project you've ever managed?" "what experience do you have working with ambiguity" but they were all more like conversations rather than interviews. One person interviewed much more intimidating, they never really laughed, I never really knew how it was going and I was less at ease.
They told me they were interviewing two other people later that week and I would hear by the following Monday or Tuesday and I got the job offer the following Tuesday.
Through my job search I applied for over 50 jobs, I had over 14 interviews and this was a great experience. I have now been at the job for two weeks and the onboarding has been great. Everyone is really friendly, helpful and they are really well organized.
My advice would be to go over as many interview questions as possible and be well prepared. You're going to interview with a lot of people and you want to have different answers and not seem rehearsed and it will help you be at ease especially if you are interviewing over zoom.
