Brooks Running Senior Creative Position interview questions

Received an email from the recruiter and had my video interview with them. Two days later, I had a meeting with the future reporting manager. Interview went well. More than 3 weeks went by and I still hadn't heard anything, even after following up. Eventually I received the email from the recruiter saying that I didn't make the next round as they found another candidate that had a rich background regarding fashion and e-commerce. In the meantime, during the 3 weeks of waiting for a reply, I noticed that they posted a Senior Graphic designer position with the exact same info as per the role that I had applied for. A position that wasn't as senior as the one I applied for. It would be great if they had been sincere with me and let me know that they had relooked at the position and preferred to go another route. Also, I looked up the candidate that was offered the position. Needless to say, 6 months experience is not what one would call 'rich background' and the candidate didn't manage any teams, which they also claimed the candidate did. Pity! These little things speaks hugely about a company and their culture.
