Interview
I applied three different times over the course of two months. Started in December and they finally called me back in February. When I tried calling back no one answered. I tried for 3 days then waited a day and someone finally picked up and said they had been on vacation. They did a quick phone interview (basically asked to tell them about myself, why did I want to work for Buc-ee’s) and told me about the job. They asked me in for an interview in two days. I received an email saying it would be the “first” interview in the title, but the “second” part was right after my first one. Easiest one of my life.

Interview
Hiring event. Waited in line for 2 hours and then made it to the second round of interviews. Also waited 2 hours to meet with the next manager. It was a very long process and it was for part time work so many people couldn’t stay for long.

Interview
The interview was very straight forward. You get interviewed by two separate managers and most of the interview is simple questions such as “why do you want to work at Buc-ee’s?”
Good experience overall. Very relaxed and personal. Felt more like getting to know me than trying to hire me. I really enjoyed it and will likely take the job. Great company with solid management.
