I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Build-A-Bear (Blackpool, England) in Oct 2018
Interview
Applied to build a bear and was contacted around a week later for a group interview. When we got there we was left waiting for a while with no explanation as to why, then we was made to sit in a circle on the store floor whilst noisy machines were going and people were building their bears. The staff weren’t the most out-going people so it was hard to talk to them.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Build-A-Bear (Paramus, NJ) in Oct 2020
Interview
Kind of long but very nice, casual, and conversational. You have to take a personality test that asks a lot of questions about stealing. Moral questions mostly. The in person interview was very in depth and they ask a lot of questions about prior work.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Build-A-Bear (Ontario, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
I applied in July and got an interview in August. It was a group interview with 9 other people. She told us to introduce ourselves and tell our favorite scent. Store manager had a list from #1-25 and we had to act out a scenario from the number we chose. She had another list and we had to explain what we would do. There was a skit near the end and we broke into two groups to act a scene. At the end, she told the 3 people she wanted to have the 2nd part of a interview. Took about an hour and it was in the store, customers were around.
