I interviewed at Build-A-Bear (Bury, North West England, England)
Interview
Very simple and casual interview process - a case of about 7 different questions, in a more discussion based feel. I applied in person, chose a date to interview and was offered the job on the spot.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asking standard questions i.e. what are strengths and weaknesses and also asking to sell a bear to the interviewer (mention scents, sounds etc)
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Build-A-Bear (Shrewsbury, England)
Interview
We had individual interviews, we then got selected to complete a group interview, you had to work in a team to market a new bear. After that we had individual interviews to inform us if we had got the job.
Group interview. Not a bad experience. Plenty of information about the company and job. Not a bad way to interview if there are multiple positions available, which is the case here as it was a new store.
