I applied online. I interviewed at Build-A-Bear (London, England)
Interview
Tends to be a group interview, and if successful, a one on one interview with the manager. In the group interview, you are assigned activities and converse with peers. In the one on one interview it’s more questions asking about any prior work experience and skills.

Question 1
If I had any transferable skills from university or previous job roles
Group Interview, had to do various tasks and compete for spotlight. Also had to make a jingle as a pair and sing in front of the group. Incredibly embarrassing, but I understand the marketing is ultimately for children.

How would you style this teddy bear, and give it a story
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Build-A-Bear (Brighton, England) in Jun 2018
Interview
Started with a group interview with around 25 people
before successful candidates had personal meeting with the manager. Basic questions were asked about previous experience and personal qualities. Fairly short -- lasted around 15 minutes.
