From the beginning to the end it was good - people were friendly and the rounds were thorough. I felt like I learnt enough about the role and the business.

Question 1
In the technical round, I was given a script to read for ten minutes, and then for the remaining time was asked to discuss how I would approach migrating this sql script into dbt/looker
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bumble Inc. in May 2023
Interview
My experience was mixed. In short, great team but I never received a final outcome after meeting with a total of 7 Bumble employees on video calls. The process was as follows: 1. Screening with the talent team 2. Technical interview with a Data Analyst 3. Technical Interview with Data Engineers 4. Interview with hiring manager The process is very long - it took 2 months from applying to having an outcome for this round of interviews. I liked that there was no take home task and all the people I interviewed with were great and I enjoyed speaking with them. I was not offered the position but was offered a short call to discuss feedback which I appreciated. A few weeks later I was informed the candidate offered the role was no longer an option. I was surprised that I had to go through another round of interviewing given I had already met with 6 Bumble employees at this point. After completing interview number 5 I never heard back from Bumble (its been 5 weeks now and they recently put the job ad live again). I tried chasing over email but never received a response which was really disappointing after all the hours of time I devoted to interviewing with them.
