It started off well. I applied for the job and heard back the same day, with the internal recruiter scheduling a phone interview. During the phone interview we've had a chat about the role and my experience. I asked about further steps, so the recruiter said he would be doing a few more phone interviews and then inform me about next steps. It's been weeks - I've heard nothing. This is terrible practice and is distasteful and disrespectful towards the candidate. Don't let people assume they were unsuccessful - tell them. Where it could be somewhat justified in case of companies with extremely limited resource to inform candidates, Badoo has internal recruitment people whose job literally is to interact with candidates, so a rather poor experience. All in all started well with me praising Badoo for its efficiency to all my HR contacts and ended in disappointment. This affects your employment brand. Don't do it.
